Dolly Parton Statue
This bronze statue portrays Dolly Parton as a young woman, perched on a rock while casually strumming her guitar. Sculptor Jim Gray chose to show the star beaming her signature smile, likely dreaming about the renown that she’d later bring to her hometown. The statue debuted in 1987, shortly after Dollywood opened nearby, and it continues to draw die-hard fans from miles around.
The Dolly Parton Statue is a popular stop for country music fans, and it couldn’t be easier to visit. It’s located in the center of the Sevier County Courthouse lawn in the heart of Sevierville. If you’re driving into town, just follow the signs to downtown and make your way to the square. Street parking is your best bet in downtown Sevierville.
